1964 COBRA 289 FIA by Unique Motorcars The 289 FIA Cobra Recreation constructed by Unique Motorcars is faithful in every regard to the small block Cobra that took the fight to Enzo Ferrari’s door in 1964 and 1965 and brought home the 1965 FIA World Sportscar Championship for Shelby-American and Ford. This was the car that established the Cobra legend. Unique Motorcars are known for being extremely correct and well built. The use of authentic parts and hardware requires an expert to differentiate a Unique recreation from an original car. Attention to detail is amazing—from the original-style leather seats to the dashboard layout and exterior trim. Engine headers and side pipes are custom fitted to each individual engine blocks. The integral roll bar adds to the integrity of the chassis. This Cobra is registered as a 1964 Cobra and has only traveled 2000 miles. As a professionally built 289FIA recreation finished in Guardsman Blue—it would be hard to find a finer example. It is priced below cost of construction at $46,500.
