1959 Cadillac 62 Convertible

1959 Cadillac 62 Convertible 1959 Cadillac 62 Convertible- BARN FIND This iconic 59 Cadillac has had only two long term owners. The last owner purchased the car in 1974 and stored the car the last 24 years after 16 years of weekend use. . It has carried a Florida title for the last 40 years. Luckily, the car was the car was sold new in Tennessee and the uncercarriage was coated with mud. That saved the chassis!! It shows NO RUST anywhere. I have scoured the body and panels with a magnet and find no rust. It has a documented 84,XXX miles and the original interior is amazingly in great shape. The white leather shows some wear but to soft and can be dyed as well as the black accenting leather. The original top is also in great condition as well as the chrome. The undercarriage is excellent because it was coated with mud when stored in Tennessee by the first owner. It actually acted as undercoating and saved this great car. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, power door locks, power windows, power top, power seat, signal seeking working radio and more!!!! When removed from storage, to make the Cadillac road worthy, a total of $13,000 was spent on the car. Invoices are available . The repairs were done by professional and include: New gas tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, radiator, water pump, timing chain, exhaust system , brakes, starter, carburetor rebuild, new battery, fresh oil and lube job, new radial whitewall tires, new hoses and belts, AIR CONDITIONING serviced and blows cold, hydraulic cylinder for the top, and more, etc. etc. etc. Yes—the power windows work fine as well as the power seat. The Cadillac can be enjoyed as an original car or this rust free car with all of its original equipment can be restored by its new owner.
